Super Amazing Fabulous Whirlwind Tour of Southern Japan. Of Course.

I mean, what trips of mine haven't been awesome? Let's just add this one to the list. And since I was on vacay for about twelve days, I'm not going to latch onto every damn detail. Let's just stick to the highlights, ok? Ok.

-First off. Spent a night in Tokyo, hoping to find one of those super secret bars I keep hearing about and hang out with fashion models and stay up all night and go broke from ordering shitty drinks. Thankfully, my man Hide saved me from such a fate by taking me to a maybe-not-so-secret-but-still-cool bar to go listen to his friend dj.

It just so happened that this tiny little bar was full of people ready to dance around like silly squirrels. I met some of Hide's coworkers, including his wacky boss, who only knew one English word. "Agenda!", he kept shouting and mysteriously calling Hide a cat.

There aren't any action shots, but trust me, there were shenanigans

I also found the headquarters for Tokyo's Design Festa art show,

(cool building, but no noteworthy art)

and this little nocturnal art project....

-Flew off to Nagasaki. You know what? Nagasaki was so lovely, I'm gonna just go ahead and do a separate blog about it.
