I just got back from Niijima's onsen. For those of you not in the know, an onsen is a hot springs bathing area. The water is pumped in, you shower first and then soak in an indoor or outdoor bath. I see A LOT of naked ladies and often have conversations with them while they scrub their vaginas. I am not ashamed of anything anymore.
Tonight, I tried out the sand pit. They flood the sand pit with the hot springs water and then drain it. You put on a yukata (robe), they bury you in the hot sand, and you lay there and sweat for 15-20 minutes.
While I was all cozy in the sand, I was sweating it out to the 80s. Here's a sample of what they were playing:

After that you soak in the bath and come out all pink and shiny and clean.
Unfortunately, it's a little difficult to sneak a digital camera into the onsen. As soon as I snap a picture of some granny cooch, y'all will be the first to see it.
So relaxed n' sleepy....zzz...
